    Default  Fred Miranda software.

Anyone have any of his actions/software?
Some of it is pretty basic and nothing I can't do on my own, but he's also got some great camera specific stuff as well as a very interesting "Velvia Vision" package that gives your images a bit more punch... I've tried his camera specific stuff before when I had my 1DmII but it would only work on RAW files, so since I rarely use those, it wasn't a lot of help... I had the sharpening and resizing software and both worked better than PS's solutions... I'm very tempted to try them again for the 5D as they now work on any file type... The Velvia Vision is also tempting as it look like a lot of fun...

    Thoughts?
    I own this joint!

yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift, that's why it's called the present.

They're good, but not the only game in town. A pro friend of mine turned me on to Kubota Actions: http://www.kubotaimagetools.com/

    bump . . .

I've owned his Velvia Vision for a couple years. Thanks for reminding me, i have it on my old computer and its one of the things that I still need to transfer over to the new system. It adds that bit of punch to really bring shots to life if you're stuck out in crappy lighting.

Wow, nice bump. Do you have any before/after examples? I'm curious.

Well that sucks, the version I bought isn't compatible with CS3

Oh well, here is the only thing I could dig up with before/after shots. Horrible day, direct sun ~11 am. This was the highest setting I had ever used with a non landscape shot, if you take it too far it can start to look like a over done tone mapped image. I was able to somewhat save a poorly exposed image and add a little bit of punch in it.

Wow, even on that example, I can see the potential. Thanks, jake.
