    before I worked on it in Photoshop. I'm wondering what you all might do to this photo to improve it since I know there are PP users more advanced than I am in this forum. I know some things I could do but definitely do not know all. I shot this with a Nikon Coolpix L12 P&S.

    My permission is given for you to manipulate this photo to your liking and repost it here as a tutorial for me and anybody else who is wanting to learn more. Your criticism and artistic ability is wide open!

    Doesn't look like ass at all! Did you just increase the saturation or something else?

    Just the usual: shadow/hightlights, levels, curves, a slight saturation boost, and slight sharpening.

    Once I get to a monitor that displays correctly, I'd like to try again and pull out more detail in the clouds.
