    nice, I need to do this as well. I was hoping to get to the sensor today, but I doesn't look like it....

    I had the local photo store clean my sensor thats the one thing I refuse to do they charge 10$ and there all really nice.

    $10 is cheap! the local store here "cleaned" my sensor, i swear it's more dirty than when i dropped it off.

    Nice! I need to get my D700 cleaned...again . Just cleaned it a few months ago and the dust spots are back

    I used to clean the sensor on my 5D by myself, it's like $2 for the swabs and fluid, and it's really easy.
    Now I have the 50D, and it automatically cleans the sensor every time I turn it on.

    it doesn't clean clean it just vibrates the sensor 9/10 times that works though lol.

    theres only one guy at ours that i'll allow to do it the rest are a no go.

    as tyler said, that just makes the time between cleanings longer. My D700 and 5Dii and 40D all had cleaners. I still had to clean them all eventually, it's just twice to three times as long between.

    but yes, I DIY.

    Yes, I'm aware. It's been very effective so far, though.
