Re: Orioles vs. Red Sox |
Very cool, thanks for sharing. Can I ask where you were sitting?
I'll be going to the Rams-Cowboys game this year, and trying to decide whether or not to bring my long glass (it's not that long -- 200mm f/2.8L, plus a 1.4x tele). The last cowboys game I went to I brought my 75-300 and didn't get too much that was good (of course the 75-300 isn't a great lens, either).
I'll be in the nosebleeds, in the corner, too, which won't help.

You're welcome
I was sitting in section 212, right up against where 312 and 310 meet up. Not exactly nosebleed territory, but not all that close, either: http://baltimore.orioles.mlb.com/bal...ng_pricing.jsp

Re: Orioles vs. Red Sox |
what were to rules on bringing in glass there? I know at lambeau it's nothing more than 8"s or something in that range... Basically it's set small enough to rule out most "pro" glass... Did they have rules you beat or were their rules relaxed?
And nice lens BTW?!!!
I own this joint!
gear list.
yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift, that's why it's called the present.

Re: Orioles vs. Red Sox |
I read the rules on the site, emailed them, and confirmed them at the gate. In a nutshell, at that field you can use whatever as long as you don't interfere with other patrons' enjoyment of the game. I imagine the Canon 1200mm would be pushing it, but I didn't raise any officials' eyebrows with the 400 f/2.8 (one, in fact, asked if I paid "something like $1000" for my gear set in the backpack, a 5D, 24-70, 70-200 f/4 IS, and 400Originally Posted by jacobsen1

Thanks, I think this one will actually altogether replace my Sigmonster. I'll know for sure once I get my 2X TC and can make a comparison.
