    Default  Couple on the beach

Went to Florida last week with some friends, this is one of the couples.

I think the revised version looks like a photo that comes with the picture frame.

Changed it to grayscale, added luminance, and vignetting. All changes were made in lightroom.

    Any thoughts are welcome.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the picture, was that song " lower expectations" from MAD tv. I like the color one better, but IM a HUGE noob, so what do I know.

I like them both but the BW conversion seems to have introduced some noise, especially in the sky. At first I really didn't like the angle, but then I noticed how carefully you picked it so that sand/water/sky proportions are great and the couple is essentially upright. Nice work.

The noise is the darkening of the yellow and blue channels, with the reg b&w conversion the beach, sky, and waves were barely visible. I wanted to bring them out more but still keep them subtle.
