    Default  Underwater/Waterproof photographs

Per this thread: http://www.newschoolofphotography.co...hp?topic=388.0 here are a couple pics taken with a waterproof case on my little P&S.

I'd also like to mention that I have tons of underwater stuff, but the water was kind of foggy and I was trying to be still, but it's hard with waves moving you around while snorkling. (Of course, I probably should have just dove under to snap some better shots. Hindsight is 20/20) Anyways, this is one of the better photos.

Both of these were taken with the waterproof cover on and still came out pretty darn good (imo).

Now I want to go back... *le sigh*

    No doubt!

Nice shots, the last one is especially good.
Good to know it still works as a normal camera through the housing... UW images are VERY hard to get good looking. You need a lot of light for photography (Duh!) and the water eats that up fast. To get really good shots you need very powerful strobes that are off camera, but you shot shows the potential is certainly there for a P&S.

    Thank!

    Cool shots.

I'm like, Ben, seriously considering getting into this underwater photo stuff. I have some landscape (yes, landscape) ideas that I think could potentially be very cool if I learned underwater photography and got a good housing.

But, this is a long way off, I have 3 very big things to pay for before I even consider an underwater housing...
