I'm goofing around with the idea of finally putting up a personal photo blog to share with friends. I might go with "thecolorblindphotographer.com" since it'll give it a unique/personal spin

That's kinda cool looking. I'm not sure how it would work for a banner though. I guess with a border and some text denoting the URL it might actually work pretty well.

And thecolorblindphotographer.com is a really really long URL.

it is, but it isn't any worse than the URL we're on now

If i used a picture there would of course be text, I'm just fiddling with concepts.

Actually, you spelled 'colour' wrong.

I like the banner a lot, but it'd be interesting to see if the opposite would work: face in colour, reflection in the lenses in B&W.

Oh, and on the domain name, you could probably just drop the leading 'the' from the URL to shorten it a little, unless that domain's already been taken/parked.
