    Flew in from Bellingham to Vegas then drove 850 miles...

    First stop, Hoover Dam of course:


    Flagstaff for a day or two..

    Grand Canyon for a night:
    Hiked a bit of the Rim Trail


    Waiting for sunset at Hopi point:


    then a thunderstorm rolled through, and I was shocked by my tripod so decided to call it a day...

    Next, we headed over to Zion. Backpacked for a night along the West Rim Trail (up to campsite 1). A view from the site:

    I've been to all these places multiple times but it has never stopped amazing me. Great photos!

    Is the top of angels landing just as dangerous as I remember? Big 1500ft drops on both sides with nothing but a little chain to hold onto?
