the Spaceship earth makes for some neat photos. I've shot it before but only with a Stylus Epic since that's all I brought we me on my last trip there in high school. I like Epcot though, I hope to get down there again sometime.

<-- Has never been to Epcot or Disney. The one time we were in Orlando, we went to US and SW instead, and my parents argued 1/2 the time!!

-1 for crappy family vacations--they are much more fun now that my parents are with other people....

I hadn't been to WDW in a very very long time. I totally forgot how much I loved the place. Definitely going back next time we're in FL. I've never been to Animal Kingdom (it hadn't even been built last time I was in Disney) and would love to go.

I'm thinking we need to plan a Disney NSOP meet.

I've been to orlando for a trade show and we had to drive into some theme park to drop some dude off on the way from the airport, but I'm pretty sure it was universal or something like that...

I can't wait until Elias is old enough to go. Nikki has family with a house in CoCo Beach so we have a place to stay and airfare is always around $99 one way per person. So we'll definately go at some point. Everyone tells me how awesome it is but my family always did other vacations because my dad hates standing in lines. Not to complain about where we'd go, but yeah, can't wait to take my Kid there...

Yeah, they have this handy dandy thing called "FastPass" now. You scan your park ticket and it prints out another ticket with a time for you to come back. It essentially holds your place in line so you can go do other things and then come back when it's your turn to ride. Very cool thing, a lot of the theme parks do it now.

yep, six flags has that and an even better version. We had a friend from Antigua visit us and my Dad went with me, Nikki and this kid to SF in CT... It was right when that program was being introduced so they were selling it hard at the gate. So my Dad sprung for it for all of us (it was like $20 PP)... The one there had 2 versions. One like you said that tells you when to come back. Another that let you just cut the line which was sooooo rad. You'd scan it and walk right in w/o waiting. We rode superman 4 times back to back in ~30 minutes when the line was over 2 hours long, then did the same on all the coasters. It was to the point where we were getting headaches from the Gs on the rides from doing them so quick.

Now we'll go once a year or every 2 years but get that pass. you have to get there early to be sure you get one because they sell a set number. But it's soooo worth it. SF is open late, but with that pass you're sick of the rides by ~5pm... So you can go enjoy the waterpark too and not feel like there's a gun to your head to wait in all those lines....

Yes it's expensive, but soooo worth it if you're there for the rides. If/when we go to disney, we'll probably get that like the second day. I'd want to figure out the layout and see the sights first, then on a day that I just want to ride use it to it's fullest....

disney is MUCH better when you're with someone who is in a wheelchair. as long as you have the alternate entrance stamp, you get to use all the fastpass lines w/out having to get fastpasses. it's one of the few good things to come from my dad having his leg crushed last winter.

i have some pics to process of my trip last month. I'll get them up at some point.

WDW is awesome, I went to Animal Kingdom for the first time a couple years ago, it is pretty freaking cool. WDW is fun even if your a adult with no kids. They have really made it a place for all ages now. A NSOP meet would be sweet

    Very cool nice pics.

I worked there in 2000 it was a great time and if you think disney is amazing as a place to go on vacation too...working and learning all the behind the scenes stuff is a whole other level.

one of my supervisors was an ex military linguist and could speak 6 languages (which he did during meetings) depending on what group of people he was giving jobs too.
