Using Google Maps you can plot points/areas of interest and add an appropriate description.

I've started with a few points around here. Some guidelines for adding your locations:

1. After your title include in parenthesis the city and state (or country/city/region, whatever the relevance) so that it's easier to navigate in the location list on the left.
2. Include any important/relevant information in the description.
3. In order to preserve the map's integrity, I will have to add/invite you as a collaborator, so post your gmail account in this thread (or request an invite for that as well and I can send one) so I can add you to the list and we can build this up.

Why not? You can scroll to whatever area you prefer. It's zoomed in there because that's where I was editing when I created the link.

Don't know.. will play with it and try to figure it out when I get back.

I can't wait until my camera automatically geotags my images. Be nice to have your whole collection arranged by precise location.

As a test I sent an invite to a different account of mine and added a point. It seems to have worked as I can view it now on either account.

Make sure you click edit, then after adding press save.
