Ok, So I stumbled upon an awesome deal... But I am having big trouble deciding if it is tooooo good of a deal.

yea... Seller is in Quebec, sent me pics... only 4 posts on PoTN... but at the same time I have yet to be burned by any camera gear on the photo sites... would this be pushing it?

I'd say yes since 5Ds alone are selling used for ~$2k in a lot of places.

PoTN average right now is $1700 for used 5Ds... Still super cheap either way... I really dont want to get scammed, but if this is legit, I am all over this like Scott on Ham Biscuits.

Yes, the only thing I dont NEED is the 17-40. Want... Yes, but need no.

5D is on the list, so are 2 580's

I got burned by a POtN seller. Tried to post about it, and was almost banned for trying to warn other buyers. I've had posts deleted, several nastygrams from a mod there, etc. POtN is very much CYA.

Oh... FWIW I'm selling my 1 year old 5D, in mint condition, with ~8000 actuations, for $1800

Thanks Mike, I went through the pics again and decided I dont think it is worth the risk. 2k is 2k. PMed you back tho, Interested for sure.

I've seen that post as well. I remember thinking it sounded awfully sketchy, not to mention they never really made it clear exactly what they're selling/including... I'd steer clear.

That is too good to be true for sure.
