    Default  Do I need it?

Im going to be picking up some photo gear for weddings, (like a battery pack)
and I am thinking of a few others I could add to the order

like a new BP-511, yea i have a few old ones, but I do have 2 cameras I need to use them for, and one of the 511's I have I bought in like 2000 for my Canon g2.. so I have 2 of the older brown ones, and 2 newer grey ones, one from my 20d, and one from my 40D. But i am thinking I should get a new one for the 40d and have 2 brandy new ones in it since itll get the most use (ran OUT of power today. one of the first times. again, i dont need it, but it would be nice..

    Macro stuff -
I have the 100 macro, and I LOVE it, but i always wanted the hood and tripod collar, but it was like 200$ for the set :P I have had it for over a year, and never really Need the collar, but the hood isnt to much, but Ive lived this long without it, ya know?

New battery never hurts and a hood is always a guaranteed accessory for any lens I buy that doesn't come with one. Not only good for flare prevention but also a bumper for the lens.

New Batts are always a good idea depending how old your current ones are. On the macro lens, I honestly could never see a place to use it aside from ring shots. its fast yes, but weddings tend to be so fast paced fast zooms are the way to go, especially when there are zooms just as fast. IMO. Fast primes are good for low light receptions, but youll benefit more from the 1.2-1.8 primes.
