Default  Question for Nikon users that have the 70-200 2.8 VR

While this lens is less bulky (to me) and weighs less than the 80-200 2.8 it is longer and no longer fits in my LowePro Nova 3.

I am looking for a small shoulder bag that can handle this lens (not mounted), D200 w/grip and 17-35 2.8 mounted along with maybe the 50 1.4, Epson P2000, SB-800 and some memory cards and batteries. The smaller the bag the better, I pretty much had to cram everything into the old bag to get it to fit and had some bulges but I was good with that.

    Thanks.

    Check out this bag:

it's a tamrac pro 5. It easily fits my sigma 70-200mm in it on one side with the 1.4 TC on it, so that should be similar to your nikon VR version (the sigma version is 7.3" long on it's own, the nikon is 8.5" so the sigma with it's 1.4 TC is close to the same size)...

And the bag is small and relatively inexpensive.

Thanks, would be able to fit a body with a grip on it as well? Looks pretty interesting.

Yeah, I bought that when I had a 1DmII, so any DSLR will fit for sure.
