    Default  My B&H shopping cart...

So, I've been up adding and removing things from my cart all night, and was hoping to gather some opinions. Here's what I've narrowed it into (I own an XTi):

    Canon 50mm f1.4
    + ES-71II Lens Hood

Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO DG Macro

    Canon RS-60E3 remote trigger

    B+W 58mm Circular Polarizer

Bogen/Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod Legs with 488RC2 Midi Ballhead
    + B/M Tripod Carrying Strap

Between the kit lens and the two above I should have a nice range to work with. I was impressed by pics I've seen with this version of the 50mm, and the 70-300mm Sigma will provide me with zoom capability at an affordable price. Then there's the added bonus that the lenses all fit a 58mm filter, so I can save money there.

Saw the tripod setup in a thread on here and read some good reviews elsewhere, so I was surprised that it was so affordable. I don't have any tripod setup now so this seems like a good starting point until I have the need and/or can afford to upgrade.

Items eliminated from the cart include BG-E3 battery grip, some canon starter kit (was only $20 more than just the battery alone for a bag and UV filter as well), and some others I fail to remember as I'm ready to fall asleep in my chair right now.

I wish I had done this last weekend.. now that I'm back at school I either have this shipped home then reshipped here, or am forced to pay a decent chunk of change in tax. It would come out a bit cheaper that way but why risk having it all shipped twice I suppose. :/

Also excuse any bizarre errors in the post that are the result of my damn cursor jumping all over the post box because of the stupid touchpad thing on my laptop.

I hope you're using the affiliate link.
And nice new toys. I can vouch for the 50mm and the legs (I have similar legs). A strap for the tripod is also a great idea.
    I own this joint!

I cleared out the cart and re-added everything through the afilliate link. I'll probably pull the trigger later tonight, so if anyone has any recommendations now's the time.

Placed the order, hopefully the affiliate worked the right way because I went back to the website through the normal link later yet the cart was still full from when I filled it through the affiliate link before I checked out.
